Yep you're right Monty
There are a lot of barnacles on the bottom of the buoy.
Low tide at Wells, not springs or neaps, something in between, even so the channel markers are high and dry, a reminder not to cut a corner here unless you have the local knowledge!
Monty loved the wander along the foreshore at low tide, in and out of the water. He did betray his Derbyshire roots though, drinking every puddle and then looking at us and going "yak"!
I quite like the gps tag for this one....apparently a mile out to sea well we would be at high tide.
