The Heath
Mr DawnAgain and I were up and out early this morning for a quick wander round Petersfield Heath before the hoards arrived. As it was, there were lots of joggers and a fair few dog walkers, and several photographers including one guy with a big lens who'd been lurking in the trees for two hours waiting for the resident kingfishers to appear; sadly they didn't show. Anyway, there was a definite spring-like feeling in the air and the wildlife was very active with coots nesting and grebes doing their thing (apparently having built nests already, according to my brother who visited the other day). I would love to own one of the big houses on Heath Road (see additional picture) but fear they may be out of my price range. It would be a great place to live though...
In other news, it's Mothers' Day and I've had two slaves for the day ;)
