I just can't help who I fall in love with!

I followed him around all morning as he rested on my rose bush then drank the sticky nectar in the flowers of the butterfly bush. Meanwhile, I was followed by two cats and His Royal Redship; everyone wanted their morning breakfast.

Did you ever have a moment where you bumped into someone as you turned a corner? I unexpectedly bumped into His Royal Redship as I rounded the rose bush while I was checking out the new egg cocoons - the results from last Sunday's Spidey Love Fest.

The cardinal was perched on the roses and we both jumped back in total surprise! Boy, did our eyeballs pop! He fluttered backwards then flew to my Johnny Appleseed tree and I flew to get my camera! For a look at his Royal Shockedness click here. I do hope we recover!
