Happy Mothers Day!

Quite a treat awaited us this morning. We took Rona down the canal for her walk to find a great smooth Tarmac coating on the towpath. We had been keeping away from the canal due to the wet and muddy nature of that towpath but changed that today due to the sharp frost which would have rendered the mud rock hard. We had fun watching the swans following us up and down hoping for some bread crumbs. (See today's extra)
During the afternoon, most of the family arrived, including Fiona with James who was modelling his new shoes. Smart!
Sadly, Euan was feeling rather seedy and stayed home with his Dad. Hope you feel better soon, Euan!
