Saddle

Very nice to be back in the saddle with the new allotment, and very careful planning meant I could do my Mother's day duties at the same time as getting a bit of soil turned over.  Having spent a bit more time there also means I can plan a bit.

I'm desparate to get those apple trees in, but I need to walk from here to there with the wheelbarrow, which is punctured in an awkward place.  I've ordered a replacement, so Operation Appletree is high on the agenda for next week.

I met the Capo di Tutt'i Capi too.  The Council is nominally in charge, but when you spend 60 years or so at one plot, you start to carry some weight.

Alos met woodpeckers in  the cemetery, which is a treat.
