Dance with me....

Enjoyed a relaxing lunch at the Smuggler's Inn, Tolverne overlooking the River Fal. This 15th century cottage was used by General Eisenhower to plan the D day landings. The American flag is still flown to commemorate the thousands of service men who left this spot for Normandy.
Then we headed to Trelissick Garden for a pleasant stroll in a fabulous setting. Came across these willow dancing sculptures under the trees. It was called "Ring a Ring a Roses" which took me back to when my children were little!
Finished off with afternoon tea with scone with Cornish clotted cream and guess what no rain all day !
