Wonderful Mammy

A rare find in England - a card that says mammy! My mammy was really pleased when she opened it. She loved her gifts too,although li'l sis' slept in and failed to carry out the breakfast in bed orders !
I'm rubbish at cooking roast dinners so went against mother's day tradition with my mam cooking for us. The other half and I took charge of the clear up and then we settled to watch a couple of films as a family.
As we all sat together it dawned on me just how truly amazing our mam is. How she finds her strength sometimes baffles me. The void my brother has left is always at the forefront of our day to day lives but even more so on days like today, yet she never lets it get the better of her and always finds reason to smile. That's a mother,guiding her girls through life.
