Wesson's Café

A place we often visit, mainly because it's just a mile away and offers great, simple, home-cooked food at decent prices.
It also has great atmosphere and characters. It's a bikers' café really, and there's a huge, 2.3 L Triumph Rocket III parked amongst the tables just in case you forget. Lots of bike memorabilia on the walls, including the a great picture of Mods and Rockers at Brighton in the '60s (as seen in this pic).
We often meet BivBov there on a Saturday after her post round for sausage and bacon rolls, etc.
