The Twelfth.
Backblipped.
I was awoke early this morning by a phonecall from my cousin Charis, who'd only gotten home from Florida at 7.30am. She was ringing to ask if we were going to see the Twelfth of July parades and to ask if she could come with us. We picked her up around 11.30 and she excitedly filled us in on what she'd gotten up to on her holidays.
We arrived in Ballynahinch just before 12.30 and were lucky enough to get parked right at the entrance to the field as we had my Great Aunt and Great Uncle with us, neither of whom can walk very far. When we got there Allison and the boys came to meet us (Scott on the left, poor little sole is just getting over the chicken pox and James on the right). We watched the parade together, along with some other family members, the whole day was a real family affair, which was really nice. After that we had some lunch and poor Charis fell asleep in the back of the car, seemed jetlag have caught up with her. The rest of the day was just spent watching the bands and with the family which was lovely, especially on such a glorious day, I even got a tan!
