Northern Exposure

I spotted a bit of excitement on "social media" about the northern lights on my area of Scotland.
I was just about to go to bed, but I peeked out the window and saw a bit of a green glow in the sky. So I chucked a jacket and wooly hat on and wandered along to the end of our street. This is what greeted me.

First time I've even photographed, or indeed seen, the aurora. Definitely worth missing my bedtime for!
