The Street

Mono Monday - Street.  Thanks Trisharooni :)

Tonight was our Focus Club Night - after the usual announcements, handing in competitions entries etc we took to the streets!!  

As it was getting dark long exposures seemed to be a good idea although we had to wait for a convoy of trucks to get a good one (this is quiet little Timaru after all) - this is taken from our one and only over bridge.  Pretty in colour, but I still like it in mono also.  The trails on the left are red tail lights of three or four trucks, the trails on the right are obviously head lights. I was happy to get the star bursts from the street lights as well.

Take a look at my extra - we went into our Royal Arcade, one of our members had her lovely colourful umbrella, we took turns turning it to get the colours to merge.  Worked OK as well.

Big day of visitors,  and again more visitors tomorrow for dinner.
