A Tiny 'Blip' on the Map
My brother and I went out to the sea wall and looked out at the Wash; this rather desolate and eerie part of the East coast of England on Lincolnshire. We went to a place called Gedney Drove End which is just a little blip on the map, where the swampy marshes turn into the North Sea. Above us were pilots from the RAF practising their manoevres, which was in sharp contrast to the silence of the landscape.
