Loch Leven

A fairly successful visit to the osteopath on Friday and the sun enticed me to attempt a visit to the hides at Loch Leven. At the second hide there was a kind soul who pointed out this snipe (or could be a jack snipe he said) which was so well camouflaged I'd never have spotted it. Also there were wigeon (female in the picture), teal and lapwing. 
My back started to complain on the walk back to the cafe, but I nobly sat in agony and drank coffee and ate cake. Saved the bad language till I got home, where hot water bottle and the sofa have alleviated it (the back, not the language).
