Roundabout

The main reason for this photograph was the building on the far side of the roundabout which I have always thought is quite attractive. For some reason it has a slightly seaside look to me. Possibly it was originally two homes, though now it is two offices.

Queen Victoria stands proudly in the centre of the roundabout. I notice the roundabout itself is sponsored by First Oil. I think this company, which was the largest privately owned exploration company, has gone into voluntary liquidation and is to be broken up, with its assets being bought up by various companies.

I woke up this morning to find snow on the ground again, but during the morning it had melted where the sunshine had penetrated, though continued to linger in shady areas.
