Up the creek!

On a sunny day like today, at this time of year,one of my favourite walks is from Helford to Frenchman's Creek.
Through the woods at the side of the creek. Trees gnarled and twisted with the wind, covered in lichen.
Primroses peeping through the ferns and brambles.
Birds singing as we passed fields of daffodils.
As the tide was coming in the little fishing boats were bringing in their catch.
All the time the water was shimmering in the sunlight.
What a perfect day.
What do they say, " The best things in life are free."
