Aldeburgh

Today we intended to go for a long walk but changed our minds and instead did a drive taking in some nice places.  First we visited Shape Maltings and had a look around and a coffee.   Then we drove to aldeburgh and had a walk and managed to miss the infrequent but heavy showers.   I took the main picture because I liked the lines of colour of the shingle, the sky and the sky.

We then went to thorpeness and had a bowl of soup and some crusty bread and I liked the ducks and swans at the Meare.

Finished off our super day at Mistley for a cuppa with Neil and Sarah .....

Home now and dinner is cooking and we are having a glass of wine while waiting.....It's a tough life  but someone has to do it!!!!

Forgot to say ....Thomas who is seven gave me the flowers.....
