Modern Technology

When I became 'bionic' last week, apart from 'the device', I was given this piece of equipment.  It's not an extra telephone, but a 'MyCareLink Patient Monitor'.  My CRT-D (ICD) device stores information as it goes about its business during the daytime and, when I go to sleep at night, this bit of kit downloads the information and transmits it to my Cardiology team database. Automatically, wirelessly and silently - such is modern technology.
Still sore, but definitely improving :-)
