Mono Monday : The Street.....

....and I give you Shute Street in our Village.  It runs down to a ford at the bottom as you can see, a slightly unusual thing these days.  There are a few houses to the left and one to the right and a farm at the bottom.  It is more often referred to as Cinder Lane as apparently when the bakery (see extra-it is the small building on the left and now converted) was in operation they used to throw the cinders down the lane.
