This the Calton Key - the original key for Calton Jail in Edinburgh - built in 1794 and actually not demolished until the 1930's, when made way for St Andrew's House.

It weighs 1.75lbs and is over 9inches long. No, I'm not an expert appraiser...I read the descriptor that goes alongside the display!
