Area Around Weed California

Headed home today from Napa and decided to do it all in one day!  I'm not crazy about being in the car for 10 hours straight, but we stopped frequently and that really helped!  And I really wanted to get home and check up on a good friend that is in the hospital (emergency surgery for burst appendicitis). 

This is the area around Weed, California....very high up so although most of California is very "green" right now because of the rain, Weed is still that brown!  But the heavy rains yesterday and overnight left these amazing ground water everywhere....and I loved that blue reflection from the sky!  Just beautiful!!!
