Clear skies..

at the end of the day.  I wonder if there will be any Aurora showing tonight.

l am still recovering from this beastly flu or whatever it was that l have been suffering with. Certainly it is not something l would wish on anyone.  Having had a very quiet weekend and no one at home at all to enjoy mother's day with Mr S came home from a day in London and l had cooked some supper for him.  Just as we were sitting down to eat it there was a knock at the door... l couldn't believe my eyes when my youngest daughter walked in.. she handed me a lovely bunch of flowers and said ' l forgot to post a card so l thought l should bring you some flowers!'  (Given that she lives 400 miles away it was quite a decision to make!!)  So, so, so, so lovely to see her.. perhaps the best surprise l have had for years!!  She has been here all day today and will drive north again in the morning.  l wish we had longer.

It's been a busier day but whilst it looked like a lovely day outside it was very cold so l didnt venture out other than to buy supper.  Tired now so off to bed soon and looking forward to catching up with everyone after my few days offblip.
