I had a great day exploring Barra and Vatersay today. When I woke up I thought it was going to be a total washout; it was grey, misty and wet. But it all cleared by around 10am and the sun shone for the rest of the day. I had a good walk (and a sit in the sun!) on the Vatersay beaches in the morning, then drove back to Barra and had a lovely lunch at the airport cafe. More stops for photographs in the afternoon, then back to the B&B for a nap!
