Local Hero

We are staying on a wee campsite north of Back of Keppoch, which is a bit more celubrious than that hamlet which is now like a mini Blackpool with all the caravans. How progress spoils things! As a 10 year old I remember it deserted.

Camusdarroch is beautiful. The beach here was in 'Local Hero' in 1983 (I believe) and is stunning. We almost thought we were in the West Indies - but not quite!
