...by the creek behind our house grows bigger and bigger each year.

A lot of practical things to do today. Wood work, painting and tidy up in and around the creek. The bridge I built about fifteen years ago is broken. A big firtree fell over it this winter. I haven't got the time to fix it now. It has to be on the next years list.
