Mustering

This morning we visited Deliniquin Museum.
My father-in-law had been stationed there as a medico to the RAAF Base during WW2.
My husband and his brother recently found some old photos which we took to the museum where a lady is writing a book on the Number 7 Service Flying School RAAF.

Soon after leaving town we met a big herd of cattle on the road.
I just managed to get this shot of the drover on his quad bike.
Not a horse in sight.

The trip home was by a slightly different route and we arrived about 8:30 this evening to a cool 20C.
The entire round trip was 2,526km.
