Inspection Day

Prior to the new season, four of the steam railway's locomotives had to be thoroughly checked over by an independent  inspector to ensure that  they were all in perfect working order. Very important for these old engines and the safety of workers and visitors.
It was an unusual sight to see all of the engines steaming at once and pleased to say they all passed out with flying colours.
