Manchester, Old and New

A brief visit to Manchester to see Beckett's Endgame, a play that Jack and I both like. The two main actors are both from "Coronation Street". Some soap actors are seen as not having much talent, but many are solid jobbing actors who move between serious theatre and the job that I assume pays the mortgage.

Jack is a Manchester boy( well Stockport) so he is always amazed to see how the city is developing. My blip shows old and new, side by side.

The HOME theatre, where we are going tonight, is new and is situated near Tony Wilson Square. Remember the great Madchester music scene?
