three lochs tour

Arrochar pier and the steamer Juno circa 1905...the passengers had visited Loch Goil then Loch Long and disembarked here to walk or ride across the 2 mile  to Tarbet (means narrow neck of land) to join one of the Loch Lomond steamers to sail south to Balloch Pier for the train home
Waverley kept this going from 1947 it would be great to continue especially with the Maid of the Loch getting ready to sail again from Balloch but as you may have seen in my Mondays blip Arrochar pier is beyond repair.... but never say never !  .........thanks for looking
