Salen

Salen is the name of this work in the current exhibition at The Qube in Oswestry (a community charity and space where I go to my art groups).

It is one of the works by Welsh artist Euryl Stevens. It's a mixture of paint and wool which has been exquisitely  embroidered, the heads and the lady's bosom are 3D. 

There are a number of these pictures, most are most amusing and show a very different take on life. Some are serious like Welsh miners and mothers with prams.
