Safe Space

After work I headed to The Furnival for a committee meeting. This is a shot of the entrance to our resource for working with young people referred from local schools because they need some extra help to stay engaged in education, cope with chaotic backgrounds and address the root causes of the barriers they face.
This view is quite hidden from the street and has been carefully developed as a safe nurturing space for young people.
The art work was designed and painted by young people alongside an art therapist.
