Rob in the Algarve

Today's the day ......................... for a slideshow

Although we were recently in Portugal for a few days - the last time we were there before that - was in 1990.  Today, Will looked out the slides that he took back then, and we had a little golden oldie slideshow to remind ourselves of how things had changed over those twenty-six years.

The beaches, the harbours and the coastline were all there and not much changed.  There were quite a few new buildings where there were none before - and there seemed to be more trees and vegetation in general.  But all in all, still much the same lovely part of the country.

The people have changed, of course.  This is Rob aged about six.  He looks a bit different now ...........................
