Chaffinch

Beautiful, crisp day and our birding group went up Corstorphine Hill.
We didn't see a large number of bird species, but there were lots of birds singing.
We heard, but didn't see, a green woodpecker, although we did get a nice view of a treecreeper.
This chaffinch sat on top of the gorse bush singing his heart out for over 15 minutes - delightful!
