La Rotonde

Left home just after 10 this morning, and went via my work to pick up the tickets, etc, my friend Char had kindly printed out for us.  Got to King's Cross with plenty of time to spare, got some lunch and then caught the Eurostar.  With the time difference, we arrived in Brussels just after 4pm.  So damn easy!  

Caught another train into the centre, and walked up to our hotel.  Checked in, put our stuff in the room, then popped back out for a while to check out the local area.  I loved this building just around the corner, and the late afternoon light was beautiful.  

Back to the hotel again for a little while, then we ventured out (not very far!) to a nearby brasserie for dinner.  Lovely meal, some good beer for Tim - and then we had a quick drink in our hotel lobby, too, before heading up to bed.
