Completed Project

I decided to try to make a set of beverage coasters for my oldest daughter's birthday later this week.  These are her six children.  The coasters are ceramic tile squares.  The photos are attached with Modpodge and all the  pieces are covered with a resin and hardener that must be mixed to very specific directions then poured over the objects to be covered.  There is a cork bottom glued beneath each of the tiles.  The finish is quite glossy and hard like table tops in some restaurants and bars.  I liked  the way the children's personalities showed up as I took the photos.
