Non-existent Cooling Towers

Driving on the M1 at Meadowhall near Sheffield I still expect to see two Cooling Towers. But they are no longer there having been demolished so that E.ON could build a biomass power station. Today’s blip is that new facility – it does not have the presence of the Cooling Towers but it can produce enough electricity to heat 40,000 homes!
