Return to the North

Rural life

Headed out this morning for a walk along the 'Stock bank' which runs alongside a dry river bed. The round trip of the section I walked along is about 8.5km. Today I did 6.7km of it, tomorrow will do the lot I suspect. It runs through flat Canterbury countryside with mountains in the distance but is a pleasant walk. I took the small Canon Point and shoot with me and tried some macro shots but they were shite - could not get them to focus.
(Tomorrow I will take the 7dII) I did like the shots of the farmer preparing his field and the seagulls feasting on what he turned up.
