Jeep Safari.
Today was an excellent day. We went on a jeep safari and had many adventures.
Our first stop was Xanthos which had remains of an amphitheatre where we also saw a lizard and the skin of a snake.
Our next stop was Saklikent Gorge, which was formed after an Earthquake in Turkey. We had such a great time walking through the gorge and through freezing cold water - I would really recommend going!! As the water became very deep at times we only took our underwater camera and I am still waiting for those to be developed! You are also advised on arrival to rent some jelly shoes, as there is a huge possibility that you will lose your shoes in the strong current. Imy even went and lost one of her rented jelly shoes - but not to worry we found it washed up on the shore on the way back!!
This photograph shows where we ate our lunch, which was very yummy!!
We then had a mud bath - a very interesting experience. It was very soft and quite warm, but then you had to go into freezing cold white water to wash the mud off. Needless to say I wanted it off as quick as possible.
We then headed off for an hour at patara beach.
