Sorbie Tower...

built in 1590 and home to the Clan Hannay. It was last inhabited in 1748.
It was a glorious day at the Isle of Whithorn, the home of Christianity,  where St, Ninian landed 1400 years ago, bringing Christianity to the Scots. The his of his chapel can be seen in the extra.
The Isle of Man is only 18 miles from this, the most southerly point in the South West of Scotland. It was clearly seen today, birthplace of friends H and J seventy years ago.
