Track Time.

Being a member on the PistonHeads website has its upsides. As well as the pretty useful forums, they hold their "Sunday Service" events. Always first thing on a Sunday morning.

This weekend, they held one at Silverstone, with the opportunity to get your car on track for a 30minute "Taster" session.

Things were delayed an hour or so due to ice, which I was thankful for. I'd rather wait a bit longer than become part of the Silverstone Circuit tyre barrier!

When we did eventually get on, things were still very slippery. But I found the car gave me amazing confidence, and was very playful and rewarding on its limits. Even showed up a few of the big power cars out there!

All in all, I need myself some more track days I think! I did strap my Go Pro to my helmet (Matt, if you're reading this, no jokes about that statement) and make a little highlights video for youtube. Excuse me swooning over a 911 GTS, or laughing at a fellow Members rocket ship of a Saab!
