We went to Nuffield Place, a National Trust house belonging to William Morris - the car man, not the arts and crafts designer. Although he was a very very rich man his house was modest and the guide was telling us that this was where he preferred to sit of an evening listening to the wireless.
Sadly, the weather was horrid today so walking round the grounds was out of the question. We drove to Wallingford, did a bit of shopping, had a coffee, sat in the car watching the river through sheets of rain and drove home. It was a good day though.
