I've avoided it as long as I possibly can.  I never thought a child Isaac and I created would ever show an interest in, or legitimate skill in this game but he is once again, proving that he can, and will break the mold.  $300 later (yeah, for PeeWee football) we are committed to 3 hour practices 5 days a week in August and then only 3 days a week after school starts (thanks for the "break").  Stanwood takes their football a little serious and I'm uneasy (for a lot of reasons) about this uncharted territory for us.  Alex, on the other end, is thrilled and feels like today was Christmas.  I will mourn the loss of my little soccer player over a glass of wine tonight.  :(
