Blinding light and a crooked door

And a girl who should definitely be given a break from appearing as my blip fodder.

My fingers are frozen and I'm tired of being cold and I'm longing for summer. But each day now the light stretches out just a little bit longer, bringing hope that winter is nearly over. Every few minutes gained each day, an opportunity to be outside just a while longer after work instead of rushing home and hiding indoors.

Today we played the part of kings and slaves and made rhythms with five year olds and stood on top of imaginary poles with ten year olds and played the ukulele and learned sign language and sang in rounds.

Tomorrow I have a whole day of meetings with adults.
