Bovril

I've been completely lacking in blip inspiration over the last few days but I suppose we all go through those phases.

I had passed this old advert a few times recently and after dropping someone off at the hospital I decided to see if I could get a picture. It is on the side of a fish and chip shop on South View Road in Chester. It used to be covered by a large billboard but it must be going back a few years because I just checked Street View and it was like this in 2009.

The advert reads "Bovril For Real Beef Flavour" although it is harder to read here than it is in real life. It must have been very colourful after it had been first painted.

I though this might be a candidate for Derelict Sunday but the way it has come out it looks like it would also be suitable for Abstract Thursday.
