Back on the slopes

A truly stunning day in the Alps today.
We met up with Gary at the lifts and headed up the mountain. Astonishingly this was only his second visit to our slopes so we got to play ski guide. I'd been a little nervous how the ankle, wrist, shoulder (you get the picture, I'm falling apart lol).....would hold up, but after so many years on planks it finally feels natural and isn't really any effort - which was great as today was most definitely a day for cruising around and covering the miles. We were guessing how far we'd travelled in a bar at lunch when we bumped into Don a ski instructor we know who told us there's a resort app that will track you...well that won't make us competitive at all will it..

It was only towards the end of the day that I remembered blip - to be honest the views were so good I kept thinking "next stop, next stop...."

In the end I've chosen a view from the walk into town, I know I sound like the St Gervais tourist board, but everywhere the views are so so good. I've put up a couple of extras from the day, eyes drawn to Mont Blanc looking magnificent, mostly to test the oh so welcome updated blip app.
