Dashed into town to meet Miss L from the bus before taking her to play her violin in a non-competitive class in the "Competition Festival" at St Mark's. It's an odd event which is mainly an "Opportunity to Perform". Which L did, very well indeed. Listening to three other similarly talented late teenagers was a very pleasant way to wind down after another busy day.

One of the pleasures of dashing around Edinburgh is that you suddenly come upon views like this. My camera had slipped into "artistic" mode, so the castle wasn't quite as golden as this as the sun set.
