Organ Recital

I was a bit washed out today after yesterday and fell asleep this afternoon. It was an effort to get ready and go out tonight, I would have much preferred to have gone to bed. However, it was a fantastic evening! 

We had an organ recital in church to mark the commissioning of our recently refurbished organ. It is now a fine instrument. The recital was given by Professor Ian Tracey, Organist Titulaire of Liverpool Cathedral. He quite literally pulled out all the stops and gave us a clear demonstration of all the instruments and power the organ has. During the finale the floor was quite literally vibrating. All money raised this evening will be given to charity. 

We also had an added bonus of being able to watch him playing on our screens, which you can see better if you go large.
