Storm

Was in Katoomba this afternoon when an almighty electrical storm struck.
The streets were flooded, there was a blackout and I was terrified.
I stood on the corner opposite the station for close to an hour, waiting for it to subside.
The pedestrian crossing there is probably the busiest in Katoomba, but nobody crossed it for half an hour.
Then a small group of a few brave souls would make a dash for it.
I struck up a conversation with a woman from Essex who had travelled up from Sydney to check out the vista.
Wrong day for vistas:)

Home and dry now.
