Scoats Tarn and Seatallen from Red Pike
Managed a 12 mile walk today - described in the walk book as "arduous" (that's harder than "strenuous"!). In it, I managed Pillar, Red Pike and the rather daunting Yewbarrow, a real hard scramble to get up the north face!
Wainwright total: 134.
Certainly one of the best walks I've ever done, although a slight trip on the top of Pillar did result in me stabbing my left calf with the crampon on my right foot, even managed to draw blood!
The extra (of which I could have posted 300) shows the Scafell range from the top of Pillar.
Fabulous day, although I was totally knackered by the end. (Can't wait to do it again, in less icy conditions).
