A foggy morning
When I opened my curtains I got a surprise as instead of the promised sunshine there was a dense fog. An hour later it had not shifted so I took Murdoch up to the woods and the fog was still very thick and damp. The woods were very muddy due to the rain we have had recently and I suppose it was unrealistic of me to hope that Murdoch would remain clean - he and another dog had great fun chasing each other through the filthiest muddy, puddle. Back home the fog did not lift until nearly noon, and now it is sunny and bright - what a difference in one day.
Tonight I am going to a concert at the school to see Thomas perform in the Symphony Orchestra, they are playing Shostakovich's 5th symphony and then he is singing Faure's Requiem with the Chapel Choir. It should be a brilliant concert, they have certainly put the hours of rehearsals in - just a pity that Gavin will be missing it as he is in Boston (but back tomorrow).
Adam finishes at university today and tomorrow is Thomas' last hockey match of the season - nearly the Easter holidays!
