Tea with Shaaamie (a mini Blipmeet)

 Shaaamie, aka Craig, Alison and I met for tea in the Allendale tearooms this afternoon. C and A have just moved into Allendale, which must seem like a million miles from the big city, south of Watford Gap!

It was good to see them. We were joined by a brother in law and his workmate, who had been exploring the mines at Nenthead (as you do).

This morning I took Mum to the RVI - our regular Friday morning trip to the Hand Clinic. She saw the hand surgeon and needs another operation to sort out her hand. This will be smaller and will have her out of action for less time. It's to be the week before the Walking Festival.

Then to buy mountboard, just to be sure I have enough for my current projects, and coffee at the Bike Hub on the Quayside.

This evening it's Maria Falconer and Paul Hill at the Hexham Photo Group.

PS Craig and I will both be at the Hexham blipmeet on Saturday March 26th, 2pm outside Hexham Abbey shop. We'll have a cuppa, chat, takes some photos and possibly have a walk (for those who want to). Bring your family and friends.
